Roe BorundaSocial media is an outlet where people voice their thoughts and, if used responsibly, can be a good thing.
But, it then gets taken outside of the virtual world and into reality. Angry and sarcastic words, along with bullying and reinforcing stereotypes, can isolate people and harm their well-being.
The trending 2-minute video “In Real Life, #BeStrong” portrays some of the worst social media posts and shows how they can negatively affect those who are singled out — and the people around them.
The acting in this video isn’t the best. But the message rings true and packs a wallop.
