The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the USDA and Seven Oaks Church, dropped off more than 500 boxes of food in Richgrove on Tuesday.
In a Facebook post, the department writes, “Distributing food to people living in the far reaches of Tulare County is part of Sheriff Mike Boudreaux’s vision to reach out to all of our communities.”
One Spanish-speaking woman who received food said, “It helps them because it gives them food to eat.”
