gvwireGranville Homes has taken the wraps off of the well-appointed 1,900 square-foot new home it will raffle off in September as part of its annual Granville Home of Hope charity fundraiser.
The newly completed home was revealed in an online video Friday morning on Granville Homes’ Facebook page.
One ticket holder will win the move-in ready three-bedroom home in Granville’s master-planned Belterra community in Fresno. The home also has an office, 2.5 bathrooms, 2-car garage and many upgrades.
Raffle tickets are being sold for $100 with proceeds going to 10 local nonprofits providing food, shelter, health care, and education for those in need.
The Home of Hope fundraiser has generated more than $5.8 million in support for community-based organizations since 2006, said Granville spokesperson Veronique Parker. The goal this year is to raise $800,000 through the sale of 8,000 tickets. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit the selected charities, Parker said.

In addition to the home giveaway, Home of Hope is hoping to entice ticket buyers with a host of other prizes, including a donated 24-month lease on a 2020 Lexus UX crossover from Fresno Lexus. The Lexus prize is available to those who purchase a two-ticket raffle bundle for $200.
All ticket holders will be entered into drawings for vacation stays, personal electronics, jewelry, wine tastings, and gift cards.
The grand prize drawing for the new Granville home will be held on September 30. The drawings for the Lexus lease and all other prizes will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16 on local TV station KSEE 24.
Tickets can be purchased directly from any of the fundraiser’s participating organizations or by calling Granville Homes at (559) 440-8388.
Starting today, the Granville Home of Hope is open for tours every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The tours are being conducted with COVID-19 safety protocols in place. Only one group (or family) is allowed in at a time, masks are required, and sanitizing your hands at the front door is mandatory.
