The River Park Farmers Market is taking on a luau theme Tuesday night and pledging 10% of all event revenue to the Maui United Way Fire Relief Fund.

The fundraiser will run from 5 o’clock to 9 o’clock tonight with a Hawaiian dance tribute show scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

“This tragedy touches all of us deeply,” said Peter DeYoung, executive director of the Fresno-based California Fresh Farmers Market Association, in a news release. “The spirit of ‘ohana means family, and today, Maui is our family. Through collective action and heartfelt donations, we can help begin the healing process for those who have lost so much.”

People can also help the Maui fire victims by donating at the Maui United Way Fire Relief Fund link.
