Fresno County Supervisors took action on Tuesday to put the revised Measure E tax before voters on the March 2024 ballot.
Though the vote was a formality because Measure E backers had gathered enough signatures to qualify the 25-year .25% sales tax hike for the ballot, supporters and opponents offered their views.
Their comments spoke to the estimated $1.4 billion measure’s strengths and weaknesses.
